Regional Market Manager Compensation - $90,000 - $110,000 salary DOE + bonus Department ? Marketing Reports to ? Marketing Director Direct Reports ? Dependent on regional team size Job Objective ? To manage all aspects of the company?s marketing function in the agreed region, contribute to and effectively implement the overall marketing strategy and create, develop and maintain the profitable promotion of the company?s products and services. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Responsible for proposing and implementing the company?s regional marketing strategy, in collaboration with the Marketing Director and ensuring integration with the corporate marketing strategy Provide tactical and strategic advice to develop the business within the chosen market sectors Develop, communicate and implement the company?s brand strategy, monitoring on-going brand performance and making recommendations for any remedial action. Develop, through primary and secondary market and customer research, a credible understanding of regional market needs, providing relevant input to other areas of the business including Industry Management, R&D, Product Management, Sales and Operations. Monitor regional competitor activity and promotional initiatives and recommend appropriate responses and strategies. Develop and control the budget for the regional marketing function to ensure that all financial targets are met and that all necessary financial controls are in place to comply with company and regulatory requirements Develop procedures and processes to ensure that the marketing function operates efficiently and effectively and achieves the agreed marketing objectives Coordinate all regional promotional activity and pricing strategies so that the company achieves the max contribution from each product line and service Work with Sales to develop effective local distribution strategy and support marketing Effective launch of the company?s new products including ongoing training and support of both the company?s sales force and appointed distributors and representatives, gaining support from other parts of the business as appropriate. Manage the recruitment, development and performance of any direct reports.
